Thrasher was hired to create a 300 acre adventure resort master plan for the Braxton County Development Authority. The master plan included areas of primitive camping, full hook-up RV park, cabins, yurts, a lodge, zip lining, mountain biking, amphitheater, alpine coaster as well as on water activities and a 300 slip marina.
The housing component of the project included a wide range of options from primitive camping to full hook-up RV’s and even group camping. Incorporating a wide range of camping options leave the door open for future growth and economic prosper for the adventure destination. The project has been approved by the Army Corps of Engineers and is now in the process of a Phase I environmental impact study.
